This session is a 4-hour face to face learning event looking at contraception and ethnicity. Research has shown us that women from ethnic minorities use contraception less than white women and barriers in the uptake of contraception is perceived poor information from health professionals and cultural and language barriers. This session will look at language and terminology, clinician counselling, bias, and stigma, and will give a history of contraception and a more general contraception update.
